It finally all caught up with me...

Well, I think all the stress that I have been feeling from work and everything else has finally caught up with me. I have had a cold for the last few days. I think my body has been telling me to slow down for a few weeks, but I haven't been listening...now it's forcing me to slow down!

There is no new news on the adoption front. I know that our references have been contacted and so I would assume that we will hear from the agency soon. I have been thinking about something that we were told in the adoption orientation a few weeks ago. They said that about 33% of the adoptions that LDS Family Services facilitates are considered what they call "Direct Adoption." This mean that the adoptive family finds the birth parents or vice versa. I have been thinking about this, and I think that this is the primary reason I started the blog...to get our story and faces out there.
